More than 20 years ago, Martin Lobinger started a company with an ambitious vision: to simplify the construction industry with special machines. Today, that same company, Uplifter, is recognized globally as a specialist in the field of lifting and load-handling technology, such as mini cranes or the specially developed Glassworker with vacuum suction cups. The company has since experienced quiet success, transforming itself from a trading company into a manufacturing company and is now celebrating 20 years of excellence. Hence the celebration of the Uplifter name, which has now become a benchmark brand. Martin Lobinger, the company's founder, saw his project grow in the small town of Oberaich, an idyllic village in Bavaria. Here, the company has thrived in a quiet environment, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, and the employees have drawn inspiration from the tranquility of the surrounding nature. This seemingly remote location has, however, allowed the company to develop and expand to include more than 100 employees and open seven branches in Germany and another ten abroad.
The history of Uplifter has its roots in the Lobinger family home called Aierl, an old farmhouse in Oberaich. Martin Lobinger, who grew up in a farming family, was supposed to follow in his father's footsteps, but at the age of 24 he realised that life as a farmer was not for him. After travelling the world and gaining work experience in various industries, Lobinger found his calling in lifting and handling equipment, a surprise that gave birth to Uplifter. Now the company, founded in the old farmhouse, has achieved rapid growth and success, with the first machines being sold to the BMW plant in Leipzig. From this brilliant start, the company has continued to grow year after year, recording a minimum of 30% annual growth supported by an annual turnover of more than 20 million euros. Martin Lobinger, with clear confidence in the future, has expressed the aspiration to see the company expand even further by establishing additional subsidiaries and production and development departments. Digitalization has played a central role in the company's success. Recognizing the importance of this development, Martin Lobinger has been able to exploit the opportunities offered by new technologies by digitizing concrete projects. His vision for the future includes a greater focus on self-propelled machines and a revolution in laser technology.
